Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?

I made a mistake, I had a child out of wedlock. I repented for this sin. I will never make that mistake again. My son is four, I finally found his biological dad, because we lost contact before I found out I was pregnant. When I was pregnant, I am so grateful I found the truth of Jesus our Saviour and our Holy Father God. I was happy when I found my son's dad because he is Christian too, he makes songs about adhering to the Bible and God. He said he never forgot about me, said he wanted to be there for me. We agreed to take a test for obvious reasons, and that was about seven months ago. The test, given through the State has taken longer due to an incorrect address but is finally going through. The last time I saw him, he came over to give a present to our son during Christmas time. Since then, I called to tell him that they need us to come in for signing papers for the test, and I left him a message. That was about a month ago. He never returned my call, and he changed his phone number. He did that once before but then a month later emailed me his new one. So, this time, after I figured out he ignored my voicemail and changed his number I left him a myspace message, it says he read it and he never responded. Now, I didn't really bother him in the last seven months, I called an average of about once a month, so as to not overwhelm him. I told him numerous times that I wasn't contacting him so we could be together, but for him to know his son, and my son to know his biological dad. The thing I don't get is why when I found him did he say he wants to be with me, bring gifts and seem at times he wanted to be in son's life and then disapear. What's worse is he ignores my attempts and there is a child involved. How could he do such things and being a Christian, in what way could he ignore a son?Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?only thing i can think of is maybe he feels ashamed that he had a child out of wedlock and another reason is taht if he hasnt seen his son...then he pry doesnt know what to talk about. Maybe try finding some common ground and arrange a meeting. If you feel comfortable, send pictures or maybe have your son write a letter...so instead of personal meeting...like send letters and stuff back and forth.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?Yeah. You're right.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?Ignoring his son has nothing to do with Christianity.

It has to do with fear. He is scared of responsibility to the child he created.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?If you have genetic proof that he's the father, get a lawyer and sue him for child support. Believe me, he won't be able to ignore THAT.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?He may say he's a Christian, but, in reality he's a rotten scumbag. Just because someone says they're a Christian, does not mean they follow the Word of God. That's why the Bible says, 'by their fruits, ye shall know them'. Get an attorney or contact child support enforcement. They will make sure he signs the papers and is held responsible for his son. You need to do this, for your son's sake. No one should be parading around acting like a Christian and not living like one.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?My birth father seemed to able to do it quite well. Christians are no more or less moral than anyone elseChristians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?I am sorry to hear that, but that is the way it is they do things like that, I never will understand that myself.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?Because Christians are naturally hypocritical.

I thought you'd figure that out by now.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?Simple.

He's not a christian.

By their fruits, they will be known.Christians, how could a Christian man deny/ignore that he has a son?%26quot;why when I found him did he say he wants to be with me, bring gifts and seem at times he wanted to be in son's life and then disapear%26quot;

Because he's scared sh!tl3ss.

%26quot;How could he do such thing and being a Christian, in what way could he ignore a son?%26quot;

See above.

Being Christian doesn't automatically make a man responsible, or even able to face things. He's still human. I think you need to really think about what you want for your son. There's nothing wrong with moving forward, possibly having a relationship with a man who wants the same things as you do in your life, who will love you and your son as if he was his own. I would forget the biological dad if I were you.

How do I change the number of cell phone rings?

I have an LG phone. People call my cell phone and it goes to voicemail at 3 rings. How can I change it to make it ring more before it goes to voicemail? How do I change the number of cell phone rings? That's an option that's either controlled by the service provider or in the options in your voicemail settings. That's not something that you can change via the handset itself. Check with your service provider to see if that can be changed. I know with some companies, it's set the same for everyone, and you can't change the number of rings.

I have a sprint phone and someone changed my passwotf to my voicemail. How can I get this undone?

You can access your voicemail from your phone and change it. If it has a password block and you don't know it you can call *2 and when the automated system comes up just say %26quot;voicemail passcode reset%26quot;. It will ask for the last four of the social. Or you can speak to a representative and have them reset your vm passcode.I have a sprint phone and someone changed my passwotf to my voicemail. How can I get this undone?Just call yourself on your phone and follow the instructions on changing your password.

But the second thing is who did you lend your phone too. Who ever it was got on your phone to reset it. That way they could call from another phone and listen to your voicemail when they wanted.

Would you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voicemail?

I've been with my BF for 6 months. I had been having doubts that my boyfriend was cheating on me so I hacked into his voicemail. I found non-incriminating female voicemails, (just stuff like %26quot;hi this is sheila, give me a call back%26quot;) none of them of which I knew or ever heard of. When I confronted him, he told me some were cousins or just friends and he actually called the %26quot;just friends%26quot; right in front of me to prove they were insignificant. Now he's upset with me.

The issue is his evasiveness with his phone. He keeps it on him like superglue. It's never out in the open. When he gets calls around me sometimes he ignores them saying %26quot;oh, its my sister and I don't want to talk to her right now%26quot;. If he gets a text he doesn't even look at his phone to check it, which makes me leery about this. When he spends the night he %26quot;forgot his charger%26quot; so his phone is dead all night. Not to mention, when he does get texts and were in the car, he sideswipes his phone so I can't see the screen. This cell phone activity is what really got me seeing redflags.

Now, he's telling me that I invaded his privacy and that he is hurt about the way I went about this. He hasn't talked to me in 3 days and recently texted me that he loves me so much but that he's mad at me for checking his voicemail and that he's not going anywhere but that he needs time to think about this situation without other peoples input.

I still have access to his voicemail, until he changes his pin which I think he doesn't know he has to, lol. I haven't checked it since though because I know I have to stop snooping, yet I'm tempted, but I won't.

I know I%26quot;m wrong for it, but I've been played the fool before and I just had to be sure! Please don't judge me about how stupid I was for doing what I did...I just want to know if you would be able to get past this if you really loved your girlfriend.Would you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voicemail?Sooo just cuz he has friends that are girls and talks to them means he is ******* them right??

you need to trust him.

Him not checking his text oranswering his phone when he is with you can be a good thing. my gf would be on my cock constantly if i ignored texts and calls for her.

but you ***** and complain about it??

Women dont know what they want.. bottom line i dont give a **** what any of you women say its true.Would you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voicemail?I not reading all that.

Would you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voice-mail?

Only if I had something to hide.Would you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voicemail?yeah id get over it.. but i would be highly annoyedWould you forgive your girlfriend for checking your voicemail?Well now you know better..live and learn. I agree he has a right to be upset. There are NO signs that he is cheating.Anyways give him his time like he asked. But you gotta know relationships are nothing without trust. If he dumps you he is only doing what he thinks is best for himself, that doesn't mean he never loved you. But I wouldn't be surprised if he doubts your love for him now. Like I said live and learn. Next relationship you get into, stop yourself from looking at the guy's phone.

A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?

basicly, he sent me a voicemail to change the interview date, but the message before that went as follows (he was showing my voicemail to another employee, it's just of a cat meowing and I forgot to get rid of it):

manager: that's her answerin- that's her voicemail, thats fu**in great though!!

    employee: well she's young

manager: this girl was born in 1987, she's 20 years old and has a funny cat on her answering machine

employee: (hesitates) oh well, ignore that

manager: (mutters) yeah,I'll just ig - *hangs up phone*

so, should I mention that I got the message and make it into a joke in the interview? or just leave it. he clearly thinks I am a child because of an answering message that I have just never removed and I'm afraid this will impact my chances of getting the job moreso than it has already done, but the way I see it is that you can't tell anything about how a person is as a worker from something as irrelevant as a voicemail!!

what do you think?A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?i guess theres 2 ways to look at it

he is a prospective employer and the first impression of you was not what HE was expecting or liked, this could influence his decision to hire you

but then, its your voicemail why should you care what people think, its not rude or offensive, not your fault not everyone thinks its cutsey

i wouldnt like it but i wouldnt let it impair my judgement of your ability to do the job either if you came to me

if i were you? i would definately and subtly ley him know you heard him, without a doubt i would, be matter of fact about it, watch him squirm

good luck with the jobA prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?you could mention it.A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?Honestly - LEAVE IT!!!

Its just gonna make him think your more immature if you bring it up. Let it go, and prove how mature and responsible by your actions in your interview. Best of Luck!! Once you get the job, then i would bring it up as a joke - after i had started a good relationship with him of courseA prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?i think it would be embarassing to him if you brought it up, and definetly wouldnt help your job chances..it is an interesting debate however...i would advise you take the cat off the answering machine tho, and put a more umm civilized, brief answering message IMMEDIATELY...however it may have seperated you from the rest of the pack, i would play up on your 'unique personality' at the interview..however im hooked now, you must tell us what happens..lolA prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?Mention it at the interview but change it into a joke, say something like your friend hates cats and you did it as a joke to wind her up, I am sure your potential employer will see the funny side of it too, the best of luck and hope you get the job.A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?id personally see how the interview goes, if u get the vibe that your doing well and the posibility seems hight that you may land the job, then i wouldnt say anything untill you have yur feet firmly on the ground. if however they are being negative throgh out the interview then id throw it in their face and slag them off to their face and walk outA prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?make it into a joke....I would!!A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?I would just forget it as he may get embarrassed and therefore not give you the job out of embarrassment.A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?classic, go ahead and get the interview. I would love to see their faces when you tell them about what you heard.....

Just tell them that you are the cats meow, and then they'll hire you.A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?i wouldn't make too much out of this, but if it bothers you that much then confront him....i didn't see anything in your question about them slagging you off so just let it go....A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?I want to hear your voicemail now!!!!A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?DO NOT say anything about what you heard before the interview. This would really mess with your chances of getting the job. I would let it go. But when you get home from the interview, change your message to something like %26quot;the cat's meow answering here, leave a message%26quot;...

Are you sure you want to work for someone who is possibly two faced and is talking to other employees about you? Think really long and hard about it, this may not be the job for you if the manager says mean things before he even meets you.

Best of luckA prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?He has probably forgotten all about this episode by now as he probably does it often.A prospective employer didn't hang up the phone when talking about me?see how the interview goes don't make your mind up that you haven't got the job.

go into the interview full of confidence, sell yourself give them lip service.

on your way out say oh by the way when you phoned me you forgot you to put your phone down i heard your little conversation with another work colleague sorry none of you appreciated my voice mail, then laugh.

    good luck xx
