i just got a new cell phone but my sim card was used by a friend. i have an ATT/Cingular samsung flip phone and i cant figure out how to change the voicemail from my friends to my voice! Please HELP! how can i change the voicmail?Some one help me change my voice mail!!?I dont know how similiar it is, but on my phone (which is Verizon), you have to more or less log into your voicemail on your phone (usually includes a 4 digit passcode, you may have to ask your friend for that) by dialing the voicemail number (its *86 with Verizon and is usually set to speed dial #1) and then get into the personal settings.
I believe you can also change the passcode in the settings as well.
