Ok, i bought the samsung hue a few days ago and i'm having trouble setting up a voicemail. When i go to it one was already made and its not me, some other person. How do i change the voicemail to say what i want?Voice Mail on the Samsung Hue by Alltel?Voice mail is a network feature, it's not controlled by the phone (other than the phone connecting and you pressing buttons to access the menu items)
What you're probably experiencing is the phone is auto dialing the voice-mail of the previous owner.. When you program the phone to dial voice-mail, it's set until you change it. Look in the instruction manual on how to set the phone to dial your voice-mail, and follow the directions. It's possible that you'll need a voice-mail number which is different than your actual phone number. You may have to contact Altel for this number.
